A baby is one of the most life changing experiences you will ever have. These blessings are adorable and we wish them to be healthy and blessed. These 10 blessings come from the Lord. Speak His Word over your precious children.

“Children are a
heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.” (Ps 127:3) – stand in faith for them.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”  (Jeremiah 1:5) – let God lead your child.

“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.  So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there. (1 Samuel 1:27–28) – believe that your kids have the destiny from the Lord.

“And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.”  (Luke 2:40) – Let grace and wisdom from God fill your child.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”  (James 1:17) – Yes, you may not know what is perfect for your child but God does.

“And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”  (Mark 10:16) – Always bless your children and say good things to them and about them.

“Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.”  (Psalm 8:2) – Teach your children from the young age to glorify and praise the Lord.

“Discipline your children, and they will give you peace; they will bring you the delights you desire.” (Proverbs 29:17) – Pity is not the best rule to be guided by as a parent. Be strict and just with your kids; punish them when they need it, but love them at all times.

Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  (Deuteronomy 11:19) – talk to your kids, tell them about the Lord, the life, the happiness and the times of trouble. Stay open hearted with them and they would not turn you off.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.  (Proverbs 22:6) – start them off by your deeds, not words only. Do as you say and that’s the best teaching you can give them.

Scriptures as amazing as they are needs to be believed!
